Upcoming changes (v0.5):
So a LOT of changes and bug fixes (hehe) incoming after testing is completed.
Should be much less in upcoming patches!
Should be much less in upcoming patches!
- Aatrox - Persist is a green/white ability. He's also a little underwhelming as a 5/4 LL for 6. So to balance this out a bit we'll change persist into undying. Seems more appropriate for him anyways.
- Ahri - Changing her first ability to "Tap target creature an opponent controls."
- Akali - Akali might be a little OP with the haste and short of a little flavor. Taking away haste, reducing to a 2/2 and giving the ability shadow for one {B}. Then to make the blue relevant in her casting cost, adding "When Akali deals combat damage, you may look at defending players hand." Should boost her play in ranked, somewhat.
- Amumu - Don't be sad little guy. It's just a little change. Changing ability to "Tap all creatures target opponent controls."
- Anivia - Cleaning up some text using the new 'create' syntax. May be a little underwhelming as well. Switching casting cost to 3UU, making the wall Legendary and a 0/6 with reach, and giving her "At the beginning of your upkeep if Anivia is in your graveyard you may pay {2UU}. If you do, return her to the battlefield tapped at the beginning of your next upkeep. The new ability isn't a game-changer with the cmc of 4, but altogether the changes will add a significant amount of flavor and play-ability.
- Annie - Tibbers seems a little under-powered and Annie isn't that tough. Lets make her casting cost 1{B}{R} her P/T 2/1, and Tibbers gains trample but his fading will now be at 2 and his P/T 6/6. Yikes tho still m8, amirite?
- Ashe - I think you're in a pretty decent spot at the moment. Bant control with ways to make you shuffle, mill, put on top of library can really be annoying with this commander. Seemingly balanced at the moment outside of one of the highest toughness' among ADCs. Changing to a 2/1 and adding a frost arrow ability. "Whenever Ashe deals damage to a creature, put a frost counter on that creature." And a second ability to complement the triggered one: "2U, T: tap target creature with a frost counter on it. When Ashe leaves the battlefield, exile all frost counters." Flavorful.
- Azir - Is always permabanned. For good reason. He's too strong! And bouncing to hand in mono white is a little off. Changing his ability to "BW, T: Each player loses one life for each Sand Soldier you control. You gain life lost this way." So now his slightly evil tendencies add black to his identity, opening up many options to help you get the win with Azir.
- Bard - No changes.
More to be listed soon!
